Jean Harlow as Lily

I’ll tell you something. Jean Harlow wants to play Lily in Booth Tarkington’s glamorous story, “Presenting Lily Mars”. That is, if Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer buys it. It is certainly all right with us if she does, as she seems made to order to play the volatile Lily. And we aren’t the only ones, either, who want her to do the role. Jean has received several letters on the subject, and I have a couple myself. So if M.G.M. will please find another story for Benita Hume, all will be sweetness and light all around.
