With Jean Harlow in the role of mistress of ceremonies, at tonight’s midnight matinee, gala festivities will mark the celebration of the “150th Jubilee Performance” of “Hell’s Angels”, Howard Hughes’ aerial epic, in Grauman’s Chinese Theater.
Sid Grauman has planned special features of a “surprise” nature for the late-hour celebration at which the feminine star of the picture will officiate. Many of filmland celebrities are planning to attend the midnight matinee in compliment to Grauman and Hughes on the successful run of the aerial spectacle and in tribute to the piquant blonde star.
