“Poor Old Horse” (1923)

(Technically titleless. Written in classmate Juanita Doubleday’s 1923 yearbook at the Hollywood School for Girls, when Harlow was twelve).

Poor old horse had no force and didn’t know what to do,
he kick up a hoof and raised the roof and away like the wind he flew
