Thanksgiving Day and all that it means to this nation will be the purpose for a program to be given tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the Hollywood School for Girls, on La Brea avenue. Dr. Willsie Martin will make the principal address on this occasion, and several numbers will be given by the pupils in the school. The program is as follows:
(1) President Harding’s Thanksgiving Proclamation, Miss Vera Spiller; (2) Harvest Song, high school chorus, directed by Miss Bunola Kucker. (3) Reading, “The First Thanksgiving”, Dorothea Bowen; (4) Address “What Every Woman Wants” by Dr. Willsie Martin; (5) Song, “We Thank Thee”, grammar school pupils, Harlean Carpenter, Aileen Pelton, Dorothy Irving, Catherine [sic] DeMille, Betty Sloan; (6) Reading, “Points of View” Betty Norton and Milton Libby; (7) Thanksgiving Song, primary pupils; (8) Reading, “The Land of the Pilgrims” Valentine Black; (9) Song of Thanksgiving, by the school.
